Company Overview

After working for two of the most respected firms for technical excellence and integrity in New Jersey since 1989, Eric Raes founded Engineering & Land Planning Associates, Inc. (E&LP) in 2000 to continue providing quality services for quality clients. Since 2000, E&LP’s client oriented, solutions driven technical services have supported the firm’s continuous growth to provide comprehensive multidisciplinary engineering and professional consulting services in:

  • Civil Engineering
  • Environmental Engineering
  • Surveying
  • Geotechnical
  • Project Management
  • Construction Management
  • Wetlands and Flood Hazard Area Permitting
  • Land Use Planning
  • Landscape Architecture
  • Expert Witness Support
  • Renewable Energy

Our advantage of providing wide-ranging, in-house services benefits our clientele to simplify and streamline approvals, from initial site due diligence (environmental Phase I’s, engineering feasibility determinations, conceptual remedies and designs), site surveying, development restriction quantifications (wetlands, flood hazard, zoning and environmental limitations), to complete regulatory approvals on the local and state levels. E&LP supports our public and private clients in a wide range of markets throughout the entire life of the project.

As the firm’s abilities, client and markets served grew, Wayne Ingram joined the firm in 2004 to expand our civil engineering and surveying services. The firm has continuously grown, even throughout the economic down-turn in the late 2000s based on the quality of work and care for our clients and their objectives. Our services now are provided on projects throughout the tri-state area and beyond by licensed Professional Engineers (PE), Professional Planners (PP), Licensed Site Remediation Professionals (LSRP), Professional Land Surveyors (PLS), and Licensed Landscape Architects (LA). While many firms provide engineering services, E&LP is unique because of our abilities to integrate the various professional services to streamline the approval process.

E&LP continues to provide the full range of environmental and civil engineering services from our High Bridge and Hamilton, New Jersey offices and our new office which supports our urban development clients in Philadelphia and similar, city environments.

E&LP is a Master Sponsor of the New Jersey Builders Associates (NJBA) and local Metro Builders Group and participates in many educational panels and conferences. E&LP’s members have also served on the Interstate Technology & Regulatory Council (ITRC) committees, and were one of the original members that developed the web-based, Environmental Molecular Diagnostics (EMD) guidance document. E&LP’s staff participate in many other organizations, such as the Hamilton Partnership, Princeton and Hunterdon Chambers of Commerce, Philadelphia Sustainable Business Network, and Community Design Collaborative. E&LP also supports many philanthropic events and fund raisers.
