To further High Bridge’s transit village theme, E&LP was retained to provide professional services for the redevelopment of a blighted property adjoining the train station. The property had multiple constraints including steep slopes, access, and its inclusion in the Highlands zone of the Borough. E&LP prepared site development plans for the site and assisted in obtaining use variances for the site for the proposed 12 unit residential apartment building. Approval was obtained in a single meeting and a Highlands exemption was granted for the project. Permitting was performed in under 6 months and construction immediately commenced. The project was completed in 2016 and ready for occupancy with E&LP providing construction inspection and surveying services throughout the project.
