ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING

E&LP’s approach to environmental engineering is based on a deep understanding of the complex environmental regulations and requirements. We are committed to delivering solutions that are tailored to meet the specific needs of each client, ensuring that our approach to each project is both effective and sustainable in the long term. We understand the importance of balancing cost and efficiency when it comes to environmental compliance. That’s why we work closely with project stakeholders to develop efficient solutions that not only meet regulatory compliance but also promote a cost-conscious approach to environmental project management.

LICENSED SITE REMEDIATION PROFESSIONALS (LSRP) SERVICES

The Site Remediation Reform Act (SRRA) became fully effective on May 7 2012, leading to the establishment of the Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) program. Under the Site Remediation and Waste Management Program (SRWMP), a LSRP can oversee and manage the remediation process, providing a streamlined approach that saves time and money. Our team of experienced LSRPs have an intimate knowledge of NJDEP Guidance and Regulations and a track record of success in guiding clients through the complex remediation process.

E&LP’s LSRPs are well versed in all aspects of environmental compliance, from Preliminary Assessments to design and implementation of complex, multi-component remedial actions to achieve regulatory site closure. Our approach to developing regulatory site closure strategies is to advise our clients on how to manage environmental cost liabilities, not avoid them.  Our approach is tailored to the specific needs of each client, ensuring that we provide the most cost-effective and efficient solutions possible.

ENVIRONMENTAL DUE DILIGENCE

E&LP offers a range of environmental due diligence services to protect our Client’s investments and ensure regulatory compliance. We regularly support lending institutions, law firms, property owners and prospective purchasers in assessing potential environmental liabilities in support of real estate transactions, mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures.

Our environmental due diligence services are tailored to the specific needs of the transaction and can range from initial transactional screens of a property to ASTM-compliant Phase I Environmental Assessments, NJDEP-compliant Preliminary Assessments, and focused site investigations. We are committed to providing our clients with accurate, timely, and cost-effective solutions to help them make informed decisions about their investments.

SITE INVESTIGATION AND REMEDIAL DESIGN

E&LP provides a wide range of remediation alternatives in order to create custom, site-specific remedial actions to achieve our client’s goal. Our staff performs detailed site investigations to evaluate the most appropriate remedial action for site closure. In addition to soil and groundwater investigations, E&LP has performed a myriad of vapor intrusion studies throughout New Jersey, which have included both indoor air sampling and sub-surface vapor collection systems.

INNOVATIVE REMEDIAL SOLUTIONS

Our team of experienced environmental professionals specialize in delivering innovative and effective solutions for environmental remediation projects. We take pride in providing our clients with long-term, leading-edge remedial solutions that help generate cost-effective site remediation strategies.

E&LP has designed and implemented numerous site remediation efforts that have resulted in site closure through the excavation of impacted material as well as through the use of bio-remediation and/or chemical oxidation. Often, the most cost-effective means are a combination of physical removal coupled with either bio-remediation or chemical oxidation, especially when significant structural or other site constraints are present.

BROWNFIELDS REDEVELOPMENT

We have extensive expertise and experience in Brownfield Redevelopment where we utilize our knowledge of various site constraints, including but not limited to: wetlands, zoning restrictions, and stormwater management, to support site closure strategies that optimize the redevelopment and reuse of underutilized and distressed commercial and industrial properties.

We specialize in leveraging the NJDEP Hazardous Discharge Remediation Fund (HDSRF) as a critical component of brownfields redevelopment projects, providing our clients with access to a range of investigation and remedial action funding options and incentives.

NJDEP ISRA COMPLIANCE

If you own or operate an industrial facility in New Jersey, you are likely familiar with the Industrial Site Recovery Act (ISRA), which regulates the remediation of contaminated industrial sites. Compliance with ISRA can be complex and time-consuming, and failure to comply can result in significant penalties and liabilities. We offer a range of ISRA compliance services to help Clients navigate the regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with ISRA. Our team of experts has extensive experience working with clients in various industries, including manufacturing, chemical, and energy. Our services include compliance assessments, regulatory reporting, environmental investigations, and remediation.
