E&LP has been engaged for 20 years as engineer for Tilcon and their Mt. Hope quarry. A full array of consulting services has been provided including surveying, environmental, civil, and geotechnical services for the property. E&LP maintains all engineering and environmental permitting compliance including NJDEP discharge permits, Stormwater Pollution Plans, Spill Prevention Plans, Air Permitting, and Soil Conservation permits. Treatment Works Approval permitting was obtained for the 7,000 gallon per day wastewater flows across the project site.

Our expertise has extended across all aspects of the facility including asphalt plant permitting and design, quarry mining plans, Class B recycling operations, and fuel facility operations. Our services have extended to other industrial tenants including Old Castle Materials for their material processing and packaging facility. E&LP assisted in the design and permitting for a new asphalt plant to allow for the abandonment of outdated and inferior plants and the creation of the new plant which would improve environmental impacts from the site.
