Tilcon – Mt. Hope

The Mt. Hope Quarry has been mined for over 100 years and continues to be actively developed. In addition to the mining permits, the site contains many industrial uses such as Class B recycling, asphalt plants, stone processing, and corporate offices all of which are located on over 200 acres of land in the Highlands Preservation area. Due to the many activities and various tenants on the site, the facility has a substantial number of permits and licenses all of which must be constantly managed.

Engineering & Land Planning has been assisting the site owner for the last ten years in obtaining, modifying and renewing the various permits held at the property. E&LP has prepared the permits for Mt. Hope Quarry for submission to the various State, County and Local agencies as well as providing compliance oversight to ensure that quarry and industrial operations continue smoothly. Our office has provided various engineering and design services for all operating entities on the site to ensure that the various permits held by the different entities and operations remain compliant and coincide with one another in the complicated regulatory environment.
