Oh, what a spectacular day! E&LP’s Philadelphia office hosted a group of our design colleagues for a relaxing lunch and an educational tour along Philadelphia’s Waterways. We learned much about our history and the future plans of this unique real estate. Did you know that African cacao is still imported to one of our docks in burlap sacks? A bit further down, an abandoned building comes to life each week with colorful new additions and is known as the graffiti pier. We saw the progress that Camden has made in cleaning up their waterfront and learned about the planned developments in Philadelphia.

We’d like to thank Hexagon Studio Architects, Fifteen, Studio Sustena, Jacobs, and Atreo, among many others for joining us on this adventure! Lastly, a special shout out to our crew, Don and Charlie, at Patriot Harbor Lines.
