James was nominated by Kerry Tomaro, PHR, Human Resource Manager, and seconded by many others on our Senior Leadership Team, including our Principal of Landscape/Resiliency, Ed Confair, PE, PLA, CPRP, who has been James’ mentor for the past several years.
Kerry Tomaro: It has been amazing watching James grow in confidence over the last 5 years. He has come out of his shell, and it’s been great watching him become more involved within the company.
Ed Confair: James is a consistent, kind, and thoughtful presence in the office and with his peers. Always hard-working, he also shows equal commitment to helping his coworkers and mentoring the next wave of young staff at E&LP. He has been a critical contributor to our onboarding process, developing lunch and learns, creating various training sessions, and overseeing several of our recent interns and co-ops. He also loves to party plan and has led several trivia nights to keep us all connected and having fun even when we can’t all be together in person.
Kevin Reviello: I’ve only been here for over a year now and always found trust in James’ knowledge of design/AutoCAD aspects. He is an overall great guy, easy to work with, informative, and very efficient at his job. As time progresses, I look forward to building additional company standards/procedures while learning new design strategies from his knowledge. This is a well-deserved spotlight, to say the least!
