E&LP provided site engineering services to the nonprofit Hanna Memorial Cancer Clinic for the purpose of developing a 12,000-sf single story cancer treatment center with outpatient chemotherapy infusion treatment. The center was developed on a 12.5-acre site currently used as farmland. The improvements were designed to minimize the development footprint to preserve over 60% of the site for agricultural and conservation purposes.

The property was located in a designated scenic corridor and special attention was required to landscaping and site aesthetics. A memorial garden was incorporated into the design, and the structure and associated site improvements were designed to mimic the appearance of a barn on a farm.
