Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia has awarded the Kreate Hub Philadelphia adaptive reuse project a 2022 Preservation Achievement Grand Jury Award. We would like to gratefully recognize our project team of Kreate Hub and LRK, and look forward to attending and sponsoring the 2022 Preservation Achievement Awards on 6-8 at VIE.

Kreate Hub Philadelphia reimagines the long-vacant and historic Thomas Powers School as private and shared studio space for artists and makers. Approximately 40,000 SF of space is renovated internally to the building providing a range of affordable studio spaces to the local community. The site surrounding the building has been updated as well with a new deck for public gathering and programming, ADA accessibility, and parking improvements.

E&LP provided topographic surveying, civil-site design, permitting, stormwater management, construction documentation, infiltration testing, and construction administration services for the Kreate Hub adaptive reuse project.
