Economic Facts

“To close the $2.59 trillion 10-year investment gap … and restore our global competitive advantage, infrastructure investment [must increase] from all levels of government and the private sector from 2.5% to 3.5% of U.S. GDP by 2025.”

Infrastructure Report Card

“Two out of three U.S. jobs and nearly 70 percent of the nation’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) can be attributed to scientific, engineering, and math activities” and “STEM jobs also generate $2.3 trillion in tax revenues annually.”

Hoboken Heights Luxury Residences

E&LP significantly increased the value of this urban property with creative contaminated fill management through innovative application of all available and regulatory acceptable remediation practices.

Alpha Commerce Center

Society’s relationship and expectations for retail and consumerism continue to change and fluctuate.  Warehouses, logistics centers, shipping and transportation in support of providing goods and services to people in their homes has become a prevalent trend.  Spanning a steep slope and adjacent to the interstate, E&LP has led the design of the 37-acre Alpha Commerce Center which will facilitate cargo transportation and last mile warehousing delivery throughout the metropolitan area.

Redevelopment of the Historic Wonder Bread Factory

The Wonder Lofts project in Hoboken, NJ reimagines the historic Wonder Bread Factory as a combination of multifamily and affordable housing units. E&LP led the landscape architectural design by incorporating a series of extensive and intensive green roof areas across the entire development. A series of public and private courtyards, decks, and patios provide a variety of spaces for social interaction while also meeting the City’s Resilient Building Design Guidelines.

“No other region of the country faces greater pressure on its land base than the Northeast US, [which] has 22% of the population, but only 6.7% of the land area.”

Penn State Department of Agricultural Economics

“Property values increase when an urban neighborhood has trees and other greenery; one study reported an increase in property value of 2–10% for properties with new street tree plantings in front.”
