E&LP has been awarded a contract for the development of Master Plans for Harmony and Memorial Parks in West Grove Borough, Chester County, PA. The design process will prioritize creating socially and physically resilient spaces that can adapt to changing needs and mitigate climate risks, as well as improve equitable access to natural environments, passive, and active recreation. By focusing on the vision for both parks simultaneously, we will help the Borough emphasize the community building aspects of open space planning and a strategic implementation plan. Principal of Landscape and Resiliency, Ed Confair, PE, PLA, CPRP and Senior Project Engineer, Megan Schmidt, recently visited the site to tour the existing park facilities and host a focus group meeting. Follow along to read about the latest updates on this exciting project!
