We are excited that our Principal, John Hansen, PE, PP, CME, and his team acquired approval for commencement on the design and permitting plans for Bear Pond Living Shoreline located in Hopatcong, NJ. The project includes dredging portions of Bear Pond and creating wetland benches along strategic shoreline locations to provide a feature to enhance water quality of overland runoff into the pond. The wetland benches will be constructed of dredged material and planted with native, wet tolerant plant species. These improvements will enhance the quality and quantity of the recreational resources available, which is a win for the users of this water body as well as our environment!
