E&LP’s Philadelphia office hosted a wonderful group for a relaxing lunch and educational tour along the Delaware River this week. The wonderful crew at Patriot Harbor Lines, Don and Charlie, told us all about the history of the river and the Philadelphia and Camden waterfronts as we kicked back, relaxed, and traveled up the river. Charlie shared tidbits of information from the Dutch immigration in the area to the dangerous currents of the Delaware River beneath us. We got to see the recent developments in North Philadelphia and some sneak peeks to future constructions!

We’d like to thank all from MAD Architects, DIGSAU, AndropogonMACRO , Made Business, and GreenGrass Engineering who decided to spend the afternoon with us and we look forward to hosting more adventures like this during the DesignPhiladelphia Festival next year!
