Scott E. Briggs, CFE

As the Controller of Engineering & Land Planning Associates, Scott Briggs is responsible for all of the Company’s Financial Functions; included but not limited to Accounting, Audit, Treasury, Corporate Finance, Budgeting, Forecasting, Contract Reviews and Banking Relations.  Mr. Briggs also works hand in hand with the Principals, Project Managers and Staff on Project Budgeting/Reporting and management of the Company’s KPI’s. 

Mr. Briggs has approximately 20 years of Corporate & Project Accounting Experience in the AEC Industry; working for a Geotechnical/Dewatering Contractor, a Global Government Engineering Firm, a Commercial Surveying Company and joined E&LP in February, 2017.  Mr. Briggs graduated from Siena College with a BBA in Accounting and has obtained his Certified Fraud Examiner Certification in 2007.

Mr. Briggs has had the distinct privilege of not only managing the Financial Success of Projects ranging up to $26 million dollars for both Private and Government Clients, but also working on the World Trade Center Recover/Rebuild project and provided the ability to act as the Project Manager/Supervisor of a Wellpoint Installation/Operation Project in Connecticut in his early career.
