As part of E&LP’s ongoing work with the Mercer County Park Commission, the Spring Lake Green Infrastructure project in Hamilton Township is now in its permitting phase with the NJDEP. Design plans have been submitted that incorporate green infrastructure Best Management Practices (BMPs) for stormwater management in the parking area while increasing accessibility and improving wildlife habitat restoration through erosion controls. E&LP has provided boundary and topographic surveys as well as site plan design, stormwater management design, construction administration, soil testing, and permitting including Freshwater Wetland General Permit 16 for Habitat Creation and Enhancement Activities. Located within John A. Roebling Memorial Park at the Abbot Marshlands, Spring Lake offers hiking, paddling, and wildlife observation recreational opportunities that we are excited to enhance for the public’s enjoyment.
