As part of E&LP’s ongoing work with Whitpain Township in Pennsylvania, our engineers were on site at Mermaid Park last week to conduct a multi-day soil investigation. This effort, which included both infiltration testing and subsurface investigation of soils for evidence of the historical floodplain, will provide valuable information to our Water Resources Department as they restore the stream, floodplain, and riparian buffer at Mermaid Park. This project was initiated this past June, and we are proud to see the ongoing progress from our relatively new Water Resources Team as they add to their stream restoration portfolio.
