This weekend, E&LP attended this year’s ASCE Mid-Atlantic East Student Symposium hosted by Temple University and Villanova University. Almost 200 total students attended from among the following schools: Case Western University, Drexel University, Johns Hopkins University, Lafayette College, Lehigh University, Morgan State University, Swarthmore College, University of Delaware, University of Maryland, Widener University, and of course Temple University and Villanova University.

In addition to E&LP being a Gold Level Sponsor, our Senior Staff Engineer, Noelle Parisi and Staff Engineer, James McGillen volunteered to judge the essay competition that discussed how engineers balance regulations and ethics. Then, our Senior Project Manager, Courtney Wilk volunteered to judge the Sustainable Solutions Competition where students were challenged to revitalize a fictional, underutilized downtown block into a gathering space and walking corridor for the community. It was inspiring to see young minds at work towards innovative ideas! We love finding ways to support our future leaders in the Engineering Industry.
