Energy Facts

“[U.S] committed to reduce … emissions by 50 to 52 percent in 2030.”

U.S. Department of State

“A record 16,836 megawatts (MW) of U.S. wind capacity was installed in 2020, bringing the cumulative total to 121,955 MW.”

Viridity Energy Battery Storage Facility

The Viridity Energy battery storage facility helps stabilize the electrical grid and provides resiliency; moreover, the energy system facilitates frequency regulation and improves efficiency.

Dakota Power Partners: Harmony Plains Solar Farm

The 593-acre Harmony Plains Solar Farm will generate 70 MWac, which is enough to power 11,000 homes and it will contribute to the sustainable goal of New Jersey’s Energy Master Plan (EMP) of 100% clean energy by 2050.

Lee B. Roth’s Sustainable Mixed Use Project

The sustainable mixed-use project involves a partial conversion of the two existing commercial office buildings into one and two-bedroom apartments. Notable amenities and infrastructure for this Net Zero Energy or Zero Energy project, the first in Hunterdon County and second in New Jersey, include a self-regulating snow melting system under the driveway, roof solar panels, and three electric vehicle charging stations. E&LP has provided surveying and engineering services including site planning and permitting.

“Solar and wind power are the cheapest sources of power generation in countries accounting for 77 percent of global GDP.”

U.S. Department of State

“65% of global greenhouse gas emissions come from carbon dioxide related to fossil fuel and industrial processes.”
