Phillipsburg’s Mayor Todd Tersigni recently remarked that “the town is seeing the most redevelopment it’s had in over a hundred years,” and E&LP is proud to have helped this transformation with our work on the Phillipsburg Elks Lodge adaptive reuse redevelopment project.[1] This “crown-jewel” will become 31 apartments with two existing apartments to remain in the rear of the property and two retail spaces that will “oversee the forks of the Delaware” and “bring a better quality of life” and “people with disposable income.”[2] According to the developer, the apartments will be geared “toward young professionals or empty-nesters” and “be an important step in the redevelopment of the town’s South Main Street corridor.”[3] We look forward to guiding and visiting this uplifting redevelopment project in Phillipsburg.
