At E&LP, we support our employees advancing their education through our reimbursement program and flexible work environment. Come work with us and expand your skills.
We would like to recognize Enrique Jimenez’s completion of courses at NJIT for his Masters in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Quality. Enrique is currently finishing his final research paper and is scheduled to graduate in the Fall of 2021. As an E&LP project engineer, Enrique started his graduate degree in the Fall of 2018 and is receiving reimbursement through the company’s employee education benefits program.
Water resources engineering has always been Enrique’s favorite aspect of engineering after interning at Rutgers Cooperative Extension Water Resources Program where he designed green infrastructure and low impact development (LID) practices. His Masters’ courses have taught him more about water management and hydrology in addition to improving his skills with HEC-RAS, StormCAD, and HEC-HMS software. He is glad he can contribute more to the company using his degree. For example, Enrique has applied his hydraulic modeling skills to the Dakota Power Partners’ 50MW Nabb Solar I facility project.
Enrique enjoys sharing his expertise and is thankful for the support from E&LP project managers who further develop his skills: “People here are quite accommodating. They allow me to leave earlier for my studies. This flexible work schedule has particularly been appreciated during midterms and finals. E&LP is always willing to give their employees the chance to prove and improve their skills. They try to find matching projects that fit your interests and abilities.” We are thankful for Enrique’s contributions and wish him well with his final research paper. If you are looking for a company that supports your education, work for E&LP.
