E&LP would like to congratulate Vice President, Wayne Ingram, PE, PLS, PP, for passing the New Jersey Certified Floodplain Surveyor (CFS) exam. This nationally recognized credential enhances E&LP’s surveying services and aids in our stormwater management and resiliency design. The New Jersey CFS certification is based upon knowledge in the following areas:

  • “National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) overview, objectives and terminology
  •  NFIP regulations for floodplain management and mitigation (federal, state and local)
  •  Finding, reading and using Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMS) and supporting data
  •  Elevation Certificates – their uses and correct completion
  •  Letters of Map Change (LOMC) definitions, distinctions and purposes
  •  LOMC applications”[1]
