In conjunction with Kimmel Bogrette Architecture & Site, E&LP was selected by Georgian Court University to design the site improvements for a new University Facilities and Maintenance Building at the northern end of the campus. The design intention is to replace the existing Facilities and Maintenance area in the same location with a formal building and other site upgrades to the area. These upgrades include (in addition to the building itself) paved parking, a salt storage shed for campus de-icing, and covered storage adjacent to the building.
A number of green infrastructure measures were also included as part of the project design, such as porous asphalt for stormwater quality, a stormwater infiltration basin with a forebay, and soil erosion and sediment control measures for both the construction process and post-construction. In addition to the site/civil design, E&LP was responsible for the municipal, county, and state permits required by the scope of work.
