The Quarry Lawn & River Walk Park project in Paterson, New Jersey is out to bid! We would like to congratulate the City of Paterson and their design team led by E&LP composed of Andropogon, Quinn Evans, Hunter Research Inc., Silman, and Tillet Lighting Design. This park project is redeveloping the abandoned and dangerous ruins of the Allied Textile Printing site and quarried Mount Morris along the Passaic River into a safe and accessible site for new passive uses, events, and programs that will enhance the Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park.
At the beginning of March, “Mayor Andrew Sayegh, NJDEP Commissioner Shawn LaTourette and Congressman Bill Pascrell Jr.” announced the beginning of the bidding phase, and we are thankful of their support.[1] Moreover, we thank the NJDEP for providing $3.8 million and the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection Green Acres Fund and the National Park Service for both investing $1.8 million into the park.[2]
