We are excited to announce that The Dey Mansion in Wayne won a New Jersey Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects’ 2022 Merit Award in the Historic Preservation/Restoration Category. E&LP was the civil engineer and surveyor on this restoration project for “George Washington’s Headquarters during the summer and fall of 1780.”[1]
NJASLA Project Description:
“The Dey Mansion garden project features the reconstruction of a historically relevant landscape developed by the Olmsted Brothers Firm in the late 1930s for the Passaic County Park Commission. It is one of several relevant Olmsted design projects throughout the County remaining today.”[2]
